 When you purchase something from our website, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect, use & share the personal information you give us such as your name, address, telephone number and email address with carefully selected partners to enable us to process and fulfill your order.  With your express consent we also collect this information for marketing purposes.

 

We collect the above information as required to provide our services to process your order, to settle disputes, to provide customer support and arrange your postage and delivery.  We also use this information to contact you about your order.  The information you provide is stored by Maggie Mowbray Millinery for the purposes of providing you with our services as described in our Privacy Policy. However, we may also be required to retain this information to comply with legal and regulatory obligations, such as accounting purposes. 

If you subscribe or opt in to our newsletter, your information will be stored by MailChimp who have in place strong privacy protections that mean your data is stored appropriately and in line with EU legal requirements.

When you browse our store, we also receive, through your cookie consent, your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system and improve our services to you.

We work with trusted third parties to perform functions and provide services to you via our website, such as postage via Royal Mail, Parcelforce and UPS. We share your personal information with these third parties, to the extent necessary to perform these services on your behalf.

We may collect, use, retain, and share your information if we believe that it is reasonably necessary to:

DISCLOSURE

When you pay via our direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then your credit card data is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard. Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.

All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. 

PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

YOUR RIGHTS
